If you like to follow MMA prospects, then you should tune into the prelims for UFC Vegas 2, which will feature the Octagon debut of Zarrukh Adashev.
Adashev is a 27-year-old, Uzbek fighter who will throw hands with Tyson Nam today at UFC Vegas 2. The experienced striker is a short-notice replacement for Ryan Benoit, who was originally booked to fight the veteran Nam.
The flyweight and bantamweight went 16-3 in pro-kickboxing, and Adashev won several titles during his kickboxing run.
Adashev made his pro-MMA debut in 2015 and was submitted in the fight. But, since then, Adashev has gone 3-0 fighting for Bellator. Two of those wins were via stoppage.
It will be interesting to see how he does against Nam (18-11-1), however, who has fought plenty of big name fighters during his career.
