Jorge Masvidal and the UFC are currently engaged in a battle outside the Octagon.
And while the promotion is moving forward with welterweight champion Kamaru Usman defending his title this summer against Gilbert Burns, Masvidal is doing his own thing.
On social media recently, Masvidal offered his thanks to his fans for their support during this time.
“Thank you for the overwhelming amount of love that i have received for the stance i have taken with my employer,” he wrote on Twitter. “From the blue collar worker to the street hustlers to the rich kids and everything in between thank you so much for your words of encouragement and God bless.
“With all the craziness in the world for you to take the time to write me to keep moving forward with my cause motivates me even more.”

The reigning “BMF” champion, Masvidal is viewed as the top contender at welterweight. The 35-year-old has scored three consecutive finishes over Nate Diaz, Ben Askren and Darren Till.
