The line-up for UFC 249 on May 9th has been out for a little while now. But, on Friday, UFC President Dana White announced the complete line-ups for the promotion’s May 13th and 16th cards.

All three events are set to go down at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. White announced the cards for latter two events while speaking to ESPN.

May 13th card

Here is the complete card for the UFC’s second event that’s taking place this month (via MMA Junkie).

Anthony Smith vs. Glover Teixeira
Ben Rothwell vs. Ovince Saint Preux
Drew Dober vs. Alexander Hernandez
Ray Borg vs. Ricky Simon
Karl Roberson vs. Marvin Vettori
Andrei Arlovski vs. Philipe Lins
Michael Johnson vs. Thiago Moises
Sijara Eubanks vs. Sarah Moras
Hunter Azure vs. Brian Kelleher

Thoughts? While the card doesn’t feature a lot of mainstream, household names, the card has some very promising match-ups. The main event between Smith and Teixeira has the potential to be a thrilling battle, which very likely won’t go the distance. Same for Rothwell – Saint Preux.

Dober – Hernandez could steal the show, as could Roberson – Vettori.

May 16th card

And here’s the line-up for the May 16th event.

Walt Harris vs. Alistair Overeem
Claudia Gadelha vs. Angela Hill
Edson Barboza vs. Dan Ige
Eryk Anders vs. Krzysztof Jotko
Marlon Vera vs. Song Yadong
Anthony Hernandez vs. Kevin Holland
Giga Chikadze vs. Mike Davis
Cortney Casey vs. Mara Romero Borella
Darren Elkins vs. Nate Landwehr
Rodrigo Nascimento vs. Don’Tale Mayes

This card’s headliner will also, very likely not go the distance and Ige vs. Barboza is a can’t miss. Anders vs. Jotko is also a really intriguing match-up.

Gadelha – Hill has the potential to be very entertaining too as does Vera vs. Yadong.

So, it’s been over a month now since we saw any UFC fights, and it looks like that’s going to change soon, big time. Hopefully everyone involved stays healthy and safe.
