It apparently came to a head when Meghan Markle was being a bridezilla before her wedding. Going so far as to make demands of the future Queen of England and her children.
Meghan Markle Breaks Royal Protocol With Wedding Demands
At the rehearsal for Meghan and Harry’s wedding, the bride informed the bridesmaids they were not to wear tights. The once aspiring Hollywood actress wanted everyone’s legs naked at her lavish dream wedding.
Just one problem: this breaks with royal tradition and Kate felt protocol should be followed.

Meghan And Kate Clash
Meghan and Harry were reportedly already upset with Prince William and Princess Kate because they didn’t feel Kate rolled out the red carpet enough for Meghan.
So, the American divorcee made the issue of tights a sticking point and since it was her wedding, she was demanding compliance from the future Queen.

Markle and her royal beau Prince Harry were already upset with his brother, Prince William, and his wife for failing to welcome the “Suits” actress into the royal household, a close friend told Tatler magazine.
But the final straw came with “an incident at the wedding rehearsal” for Harry and Meghan’s eagerly awaited 2018 royal wedding, the friend says of the falling out that many believe ultimately led to Megxit.
“It was a hot day and apparently there was a row over whether the bridesmaids should wear tights or not,” a friend of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge told the mag for its cover story.
“Kate, following protocol, felt that they should. Meghan didn’t want them to,” the friend insisted.
Markle won, it seems — with photos from her big day at Windsor Castle showing bare-legged bridesmaids.
The Sun previously reported Meghan left Kate in tears with her demands for what her daughter, Princess Charlotte, needed to wear to the wedding.
The Wedding That Sparked Separation
I spy some bare legs in the royal family photo from Meghan and Harry’s extravagant wedding. The very wedding that would ultimately lead to Prince Harry rejecting his duties as a senior royal and abandoning his family.
Everyone may be smiling for the camera but we all know that pictures can be deceiving.
Meghan sounds like a true bridezilla. The wedding was her show and her chance to manipulate and control those around her.
When she didn’t get her way, she and Harry later abruptly left England to settle in her hometown of Los Angeles.
