Kamaru Usman Assures Fans He’ll Destroy Conor McGregor, Oddsmakers Have Champ as Heavy Favorite
Conor McGregor isn't booked to fight Kamaru Usman. But, if that fight happens, the welterweight champ insists some bad things will happen to the "Notorious" one.
Recently Kamaru Usman’s manager relayed that if Jorge Masvidal isn’t going to fight the UFC’s welterweight champ next, they’re down for a fight with Conor McGregor. Well, since then, Usman’s asked fans why they want to see him hurt the former champ…
Usman argues he’ll cruise through McGregor
In recent months, the expectation has been that Usman’s next title defense will be against Masvidal. But, after “Gamebred” told Nate Diaz recently he’s willing to rematch him, Usman’s manager said the champ will fight McGregor if Masvidal’s out.
Since then, Usman tweeted out this.
I really don’t understand why you all want this man DEAD!!! I’d shag him in there if I wanted and he’d “DO NOTHIN” FOH
Will we hear from McGregor on this? If we don’t, could that mean he’s not thinking about taking them up on their offer?

Early betting lines on theoretical bout
As it stands right now, there are still more reasons to believe that Usman – Masvidal will happen over Masvidal – Diaz II. But, some oddsmakers have already shared out a betting line for the theoretical match-up.

Bet Online.ag has McGregor as a sizeable underdog if he does end up fighting Usman, with odds of +285. The champ currently has odds at -300.
Really, that shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise. Usman is much bigger than McGregor, he has outstanding wrestling, solid cardio and ever-improving striking. But, does that mean he’d punish and batter McGregor? Like Usman maintains?
