The WWE has some stupid reasons for not pushing its most popular superstars

Vince McMahon and the WWE in general have their reasons for not pushing popular superstars. However, some of these reasons are absolutely ludicrous.

Today, we reveal the stupid reasons why the WWE refuses to push guys like Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler.

Boring And Flashy Moves

Cesaro is allegedly boring and his moves are too flashy

The WWE is often a walking contradiction, and this certainly applies when you look at the reasons for not pushing Cesaro. In the same breath, the company referred to Cesaro as boring and having moves that are too flashy, which is completely contradictory.

Vince McMahon labeled Cesaro as too boring in the past. Yet, Arn Anderson recently revealed that the WWE also believed his moves were too flashy for a heel.

“He’s not a favorite guy, as you know, of the front office, for whatever reason that is. They’re the only ones that know because everyone else across the planet seems to think he’s a Superstar. But he continued to get leaned on to stop doing all that stuff [impressive moves] as a heel. It was just too flashy and all that stuff.”

The contradictory reasons for keeping Cesaro away from the big time are ridiculous to say the least. In fact, you can argue they are not solid reasons at all.

Cesaro’s in-ring skills rival those of the most successful WWE Hall of Famers. However, the WWE never capitalized on it.

Unfortunately, Cesaro is not the only one who was kept back over the years. The second name surprises most people though, as it is none other than Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph Ziggler Is Too Outspoken

Dolph Ziggler is allegedly too outspoken

Contrary to the claims of the WWE’s PR department during the coronavirus pandemic, wrestlers cannot speak their mind freely. In fact, the reason why Dolph Ziggler never made it to the A-list is due to being too outspoken backstage.

Don’t get me wrong, the WWE rewarded Ziggler with a couple of championship runs over the years. However, when you compare him to someone like Roman Reigns and The Undertaker, it is clear that he has been held back, too.

Dolph Ziggler’s pushes have not been consistent whatsoever. Over the years, he mainly put people over, instead of enjoying lengthy championship reigns himself.

Being outspoken in the WWE hurts your career as a wrestler substantially, as the company dedicates itself to close the lid on any controversy. Also, any attempts to unionize WWE wrestlers in the past failed completely.

Ridiculous Reasons Not To Push Wrestlers Are Widespread

While we used the example of Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler, there are countless other wrestlers that do not get an opportunity on the main roster. Sometimes, it is for something as little as Vince not liking a wrestler.

The culture in the WWE has been pulled into question many times over the past couple of years. From bullying accusations to allegedly forcing staff to work during the coronavirus crisis, there is no limit to the bad press the company had to deal with over the past year or so.

When the coronavirus crisis is over, the WWE’s PR department is going to be very busy. In the meantime, it would be interesting to see its wrestlers finally form a union to protect themselves and one another.
