UFC Flashback: Watch Nick Diaz Score Submission Win in 2003, Octagon Debut

The UFC has continued to be busy, in terms of sharing out content via the company’s YouTube channel. Recently the promotion has been sharing out the Octagon debut of various fighters, and now it’s done so with one of the biggest names in the game, Nick Diaz.

Watch Diaz tap-out Jeremy Jackson

Diaz made his UFC debut all the way back in 2003, after going 7-2 in his first 9 pro bouts. The Stockton star faced Jeremy Jackson, who he had defeated and lost to before.

Well, as you can see by watching the video below, Diaz took the rubber match with a nicely timed armbar.

What’s next for Diaz?

Diaz, who is now 36, hasn’t fought since 2015 when he faced Anderson Silva. Late last year, there was talk about Diaz fighting Jorge Masvidal, but nothing ever materialized on that front.

UFC President Dana White has said he doesn’t believe Diaz is truly interested in fighting again at this stage.
