Elderly Woman Becomes Viral Star With Beer Plea
KDKA reported that a photo of Olive Veronesi holding a sign that says “I Need More Beer!” has been shared over four million times on social media.
Olive is enjoying her celebrity status after the photograph of her asking for more beer went viral.
Many people responded to Olive who lives in the town of Seminole.
“Love you to bits all the way from England,” one social media user commented. Another added, “You go girl if I was there it would be on your porch.”
“She is my spirit animal,” a third user wrote.
Olive has been relishing the attention that she has been getting from people all over the world as the photo has spread, saying that, “It’s nice, something for a young lady.”

Olive Gets A Big Surprise
On Monday, Olive learned firsthand that being an internet star really pays off when she received a special delivery of 150 Coors Light beers!
Wasting no time at all, Olive popped open one of the cans and started drinking it.
“That tastes pretty good,” she said.
Representatives from Molson Coors personally visited Olive to deliver the beers to her.
“My associate and I put in 10 cases of beer, and drove up, and made sure Olive got her beer so she can continue her healthy regimen of a Coors light a day,” Mark Linder of Molson Coors said.

Olive Explains Her Love For Beer
Olive also explained why exactly she was so desperate to get more beer.
“I was on my last 12 cans, I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it.”
Can’t argue with that!
Olive’s explanation only garnered more positive comments from internet users.
“Oh okay a 93-year-old does it and it’s funny and heartwarming but when I do it I’m an alcoholic,” one person commented.
In difficult times like these, when everything seems so bleak and uncertain, it’s important to find things to smile and laugh about.
