Whoopi Goldberg: Obama Should Be Biden’s VP Choice

The women of “The View” are full out giddy following Joe Biden’s Super Tuesday performance. The liberal cohosts now believe Biden can save them from Bernie Sanders who they think would lose handily in a general election. Whoopi Goldberg is so excited about this latest development in the Democratic primary that she’s pushing for a reunion of sorts. She wants Joe Biden to pick Barack Obama as his running mate.

Joe Biden’s Super Tuesday Comeback

The memory-challenged former Vice President’s campaign went from being on life support to becoming the leading Democrat on Super Tuesday. Biden securing key endorsements from previous Democratic opponents on the eve of Super Tuesday proved a game changer that flipped the primary on its head.

A week ago, pundits were predicting Sanders would become the Democratic nominee. Now, it appears that the Socialist Senator’s campaign is suddenly dead on arrival after a Super Tuesday trouncing.

Whoopi Goldberg Wants Biden In 2020

Whoopi Goldberg is already looking ahead and implanting visions of Barack Obama returning to the White House in ABC viewers’ heads. Biden naming Barack Obama as his Vice President would essentially flip the duo’s 2008 winning presidential ticket.

Whoopi’s Biden/Obama 2020 pitch received a positive reaction from the crowd.

Of course, the 64-year-old EGOT winner also thinks Joe Biden should select his wife Jill to be Surgeon General. Jill Biden is a doctor, but she has a PhD in Education. She is therefore not a medical doctor and clearly not qualified to hold the Office of Surgeon General. Even if pandering Whoopi claims, “she’s a hell of a doctor. She’s an amazing doctor!”

So maybe Whoopi isn’t who Americans should listen to when it comes to selecting America’s leaders?

But that didn’t stop Whoopi from firing from the hip yet again with her latest liberal scheme.

Goldberg said, “So I had another — I’ve been sitting here — I’ve been crazy all morning.”

Co-host Meghan McCain said, “It’s a crazy time.”

Goldberg said, “I’m sorry. I’m just going to do my crazy right now.”

McCain said, “I like it. I like when we go rogue.”

Goldberg continued, “Everybody was thinking about who could the VP be for Joe. I thought, oh man, what would happen if Joe Biden said my choice for VP is Barack Obama?”

After the audience cheered, Goldberg said, “He won’t, but it’s not illegal.”

McCain said, “It’s not going to happen.”

ABC legal analyst and co-host Sunny Hostin said, “I don’t think it’s illegal.”

Goldberg said, “It’s not illegal.”

Co-host Joy Behar said, “But you have to be eligible to run for president when you’re the vice president and he can’t.”

Goldberg said, “That’s not true.”
