Dana White continues to say that the UFC will find a way to host UFC 249 next month, and in the meantime, “Anatomy of a Fighter” is still sharing out videos featuring headliner, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
As you can see by watching the video below, cameras were on hand to follow Khabib around Makhachkala, Dagetan, where he grew up. The UFC’s lightweight champ reflect on his childhood, and the fact that now he’s super busy all the time, since he’s a pretty big deal in the world of combat sports.
Although recently the UFC was forced to postpone March 21st, 28th and April 11th shows, on account of the coronavirus epidemic, White insists that the April 18th bout between Khabib and Tony Ferguson will go ahead, somehow.
The UFC President has suggested that the card could be moved outside the United States. But, as it stands right now, it’s not clear what type of travel will be allowed in several weeks time.
UFC 249 was originally scheduled to take place the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. But, larger public gatherings have now been temporarily banned in the state.
