Karma or Convenience? Why It Matters That Harvey Weinstein Has Coronavirus

Hollywood rapist Harvey Weinstein has tested positive for coronavirus at the onset of serving 23 years in the New York prison system.

Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein has tested positive for coronavirus while serving 23 years in prison for sexual assault and rape. The Tinseltown terror has been quarantined and put in isolation in a New York State prison.

Weinstein told staff at Wende Correctional Facility in Western New York that he believed he had the virus when he arrived there on Wednesday after being transferred from Rikers Island, where some prisoners have already tested positive for coronavirus. To date, at least 38 prisoners in New York jails have been diagnosed with the deadly virus.

The convicted movie producer was sent to Wende outside of Buffalo to be evaluated to determine which New York prison facility meets his security and health needs. At least two inmates at Wende have already tested positive for COVID-19.

Weinstein is certainly in the high risk category. The convict was just treated for heart problems at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan following his sentencing. Plus, the 68-year-old suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure. When you add coronavirus into the mix, it certainly sounds like a dangerous combination.

Shortage Of Coronavirus Tests

Average people who are not in prison and never have been convicted of crimes are having a hard time being tested for coronavirus due to a shortage of tests. But, Weinstein, a well-known abuser and friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton, was able to score a test behind prison walls.

This highlights the absurd priorities of the government in choosing Harvey Weinstein over a typical law-abiding citizen.

Weinstein has a litany of powerful friends. Not only is he tightly connected to Bill and Hillary Clinton, but he was a prolific fundraising bundler and supporter of top brass in the Democratic Party, including Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer.

Hollywood’s top actors looked the other way for decades as the knowledge of Weinstein’s assaults was an open secret. He had no problem getting one of those limited tests.

Rose McGowan Reacts To Weinstein’s Coronavirus Diagnosis

Rose McGowan has been very outspoken in her claims that she was assaulted by Harvey Weinstein. She has been relentless in pursing justice by getting Weinstein behind bars.

While her assault is beyond the statue of limitations so she will never get her day in criminal court, she continues to hold Weinstein and his enablers accountable on social media and in the press.

McGowan had somethings to say about Weinstein’s diagnosis. She doesn’t have much sympathy for the man who caused her such grief and pain.

“Dear Harvey, In your darkest hour, repent. And in your lightest moment set yourself free,” McGown tweeted.

The actress followed that tweet up by saying Weinstein contracting coronavirus is karma.

You might be asking yourself at this point if his diagnosis is karma or convenience? After all, it’s been less than two weeks since a Manhattan state court sentenced Weinstein to prison.

Many people still refuse to accept that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in prison last year after his guards conveniently fell asleep. If we are told that Weinstein succumbs to coronavirus, we can expect to see many conspiracy theories regarding his death.

After all, many powerful people want their Harvey Weinstein problem to go away and disappear from the headlines.
