After all the drama surrounding their final engagements as senior members of the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan accepted an invitation to visit with the Queen this summer at Balmoral in Scotland. It is expected they will bring their son Archie as well.

Queen Elizabeth is working hard to maintain a sense of family with her grandson Prince Harry amidst Meghxit. Despite the back-handedness of Harry and Meghan’s abrupt announcement of their decision to leave royal life, he still is her grandson.

Archie’s First Birthday

Archie will have his first birthday in May and his 93-year-old grandmother has missed much of his his first year due to his parents sudden departure to live on another continent. It is certainly welcome news for the Queen that she will spend time with Archie this summer.

Archie’s absence from his homeland has reportedly made his great-grandmother, the Queen, quite sad, so this is welcomed news.

You can see how happy the Queen is when she looked at Archie.

Harry and Meghan turned down Her Majesty’s invitation to Balmoral last summer. Instead, they took their only son to Elton’s John’s home in France and Ibiza.

Harry And Meghan At Trooping The Colour

Harry and Meghan also plan on attending June’s Trooping The Colour. This is confirming the belief of many Royal watchers that Harry and Meghan don’t want the responsibilities of being Royals but they want all the perks.

If you’re not familiar with it, Trooping The Colour is a parade of military pageantry in which the Queen inspects her troops. The celebration features more than 1400 officers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians, and the Queen’s extended family attends.

Meghan and Harry still want to be there for the most widely watched Royal Family event of the year in order to market themselves for monetary gain.

Looking To Rent In Southern California

While the soon-to-be former Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been staying in Canada since they fled their roles in the Royal Family, The Daily Mail had an exclusive report that the couple is planning on renting a $16k a night Malibu mansion to test out Southern California life.

The eight bedroom, 10 bathroom is valued at $20 million and named Petra Manor. It is conveniently located near Meghan’s mother’s home.

They might not be senior Royals anymore, but they certainly still have the same exquisite and expensive tastes. And of course, they will want to live behind gates and away from commoners.
