Dominick Reyes & Jan Blachowicz Respond to Jon Jones’ Arrest

The MMA world is reacting to the news that Jon Jones has been arrested, again, and it didn’t take long for a former foe, Dominick Reyes, and likely future foe, Jan Blachowicz to respond.

If you missed the news, Jones was arrested in Albuquerque, early Thursday morning, and charged with driving under the influence, negligent use of a firearm and possession of an open container. If you’ve followed Jones over the years, then you know the UFC champ has had repeated issues with the law. For example, in 2012, Jones was arrested for driving under the influence, and in 2015, he was arrested in connection to a hit-and-run incident, which left a pregnant woman with a broken arm.

Well, after news of Jones’ latest arrest made headlines, Reyes tweeted out this:

“This is so unbelieveable it’s almost laughable!”

“All we can do is pray for that man. Those demons are real he said it himself”

And Blachowicz, meanwhile, responded with this verbal jab.

“Come on Jon, you have to find more clever way to hide from me than a jail ;).”

Jones next fight?

It remains to be seen if this alleged incident impacts when we’ll see Jones fight again. The champion is coming off a razor-thin, decision win over Reyes in February. Many people scored the bout for Reyes, and last summer, Jones narrowly got by Thiago Santos via split decision.

Blachowicz, meanwhile, has been calling for a title shot, after he knocked out Corey Anderson in February. The light-heavyweight contender has won three in a row.
