Charles Oliveira Makes History, Calls For UFC Title Shot
Charles Oliveira made quick work of Kevin Lee and let it be known that he wants to challenge the winner between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson next.
Charles Oliveira didn’t need a big crowd to ignite himself.
Oliveira earned a submission victory over Kevin Lee Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night 170 inside of an empty arena in Brazil. No fans were allowed due to the threat of the coronavirus, but the show went on.
With the win, Oliveira pushed his win streak to seven – all coming via finish. That tied him with Chuck Liddell for most in UFC history, just one behind Anderson Silva.
Oliveira also earned his 16th career Octagon stoppage win, tying him with Donald Cerrone for that record.
JUST THAT QUICKLY! 👀
