The liberal media is always trying to make it look like supporters of Donald Trump are violent and deranged, but in reality, it’s leftwingers who have shown they are far more prone to violence when they come upon someone who supports the president. Now, yet another “triggered” liberal has launched a violent attack when confronted with what she thought was a MAGA hat. The victim of the MAGA inspired assault was a retired NYPD officer, Daniel Sprague, who was celebrating his birthday in Nashville.
Retired NYPD Officer Assaulted Over MAGA Lookalike Hat
A retired NYPD officer says he was assaulted while celebrating his birthday when a woman punched him in the face for wearing a red hat that looked like a MAGA hat.
The Blaze reported that Daniel Sprague recently went to The Stage bar in Nashville, Tennessee to celebrate his 50th birthday. His wife had gotten him various specially-made items to celebrate the landmark birthday, including a red MAGA-styled cap that reads “Make Fifty Great Again.”
“People were just coming up to me and, you know, just loving the little word play on the hat and taking pictures and wishing me happy birthday,” Sprague recounted.
All was going well until out of nowhere, a woman came up to him and went off.
“At one point a female came up from behind me, spun me around, and punched me in the face and then grabbed my hat off my head and was just yelling, ‘How dare you!'” Sprague said.
Daniel Sprague Left Injured
Explaining that the woman was likely wearing a ring or a hard set of keys in her hand when she threw the punch, Sprague said he was left with a deep cut on his cheek that “goes to the bone.”
The woman has unfortunately not yet been caught or identified, but Sprague filed a police report and plans to press charges if she’s found.
“We can’t just go around as a society [and act violently] because somebody has a political opinion that doesn’t match theirs,” he said.
Republican New York City councilman Joe Borelli, a personal friend of Sprague’s, took to Twitter to post about the incident.
“In Trump derangement syndrome news: Meet my pal Danny. He’s a retired #NYPD, & a pillar of our community,” Borelli wrote. “Goes to Nashville to celebrate his 50th. Wears a ‘Make Fifty Great Again’ Hat. A woman punches him (she thinks it’s a MAGA hat) & flees the scene. This is 2020.”

Trump Supporters At Risk
Trump supporters everywhere will not be surprised to hear this story. Despite what the liberal media says, it’s Trump supporters who are really in danger in this country when it comes to expressing their political beliefs.
Now, even wearing something that LOOKS like a MAGA hat is apparently dangerous in America. If a retired NYPD cop like Daniel Sprague isn’t safe, what does that mean for the average American?
We can only hope that the woman who committed this unprovoked attack is caught and held accountable for her actions.
Liberals can try to intimidate the President’s supporters all they want – even with violence – but it won’t stop them from voting for Trump again come November.
