New Bleach Project to Be Announced at AnimeJapan2020
A new Bleach project is set to be announced at the upcoming AnimeJapan2020 expo, in celebration of the series' 20th anniversary.
Tite Kubo’s exceptionally popular manga Bleach is making a return in 2020 with a new project, made in celebration of the series’ 20th anniversary, set to be announced at the upcoming AnimeJapan2020 expo.
Details on the project are scarce at the moment, as on January 27th it was merely announced that ‘something’ relating to Bleach and Kubo will debut at the upcoming Japanese anime convention.
The live stage event “Bleach 20th Anniversary Project and Tite Kubo New Work Presentation” will be held on March 21st with Kubo, Weekly Shonen Jump editor Nakano Hiroyuki, Ichigo Kurosaki’s voice actor Morita Masakazu, and Kukichi Bakuya voice actor Okiayu Ryoutarou set to appear during the presentation.
A teaser website hosted by Shonen Jump has been created since the project’s vague announcement, and currently features only a sole image reading “Bleach – Face Again”:
Bleach animator, character designer, storyboard artist, and episode director Masashi Kudo indicated in November that he was unsure if there would be any more Bleach animation from him.
I don’t know.
