Goldberg Defeats ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt At SSD & Fans Are Pissed
WWE returned to Saudi Arabia and the main event featured Goldberg taking on Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. In the end, Goldberg left with the title. But, fans were not happy.
The match lasted three minutes and there was little action. We got a few spears from Goldberg and the mandible claw from Wyatt. Then Goldberg hit a sloppy jackhammer to claim the gold. As you can imagine, fans were not and they let their anger out on social media.

We don’t have to pretend Bray Bray Wyatt is some kind of super worker, but pretending 53 year old Goldberg is on his level is odd.
Wyatt had good matches with Bryan, Balor, Ambrose, Sheamus, Jericho and Cena. Not great, but a level that Goldberg wouldn’t be able to reach today.

Goldberg winning doesn’t say WWE doesn’t care about their future. They want Reigns to be their future. NO CHANCE does Roman get cheered against the Fiend.
Having a transition to Goldberg and then another coronation at Mania is the way to put reigns back on top.

We will have to see what this means for WrestleMania. It appears, Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg will happen for the belt. As for Wyatt, he could be facing John Cena. We should know a lot more come SmackDown, as Cena returns.
