Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick just opened up about his plans for the future in a bombshell new interview. In the interview with USA TODAY Sports, Kaepernick announced plans to pen a memoir and launch a publishing company focused on “black and brown writers and authors.” All in the name of his fight against “systematic oppression” here in America.
The unemployed pro football player also claimed that he still hopes to play football for the NFL, even though he sabotaged a tryout arranged by the NFL in November.

Kaepernick Focused On Memoir And Ending “Systematic Oppression”
For now, Kaepernick said he’s just focusing on his memoir and publishing company. The two ventures are part of his goal to fight “against systematic oppression, dehumanization and colonization.”
“I learned early on that in fighting against systematic oppression, dehumanization and colonization, who controls the narrative shapes the reality of how the world views society,” said Kaepernick. “It controls who’s loved, who’s hated, who’s degraded and who’s celebrated.”
The 32-year-old went on to say that his publishing company “is a way for me to be able to counteract that and begin to decolonize that and centralize the narrative of not only myself but other black and brown writers and authors.”
“I realized being able to control your narrative and tell your story the way you want to is very important,” Kaepernick continued. “The manipulation, the colonization, the distortion of stories, narrative, history, has been done forever.”
Did we mention that Kaepernick is now a multimillionaire brand rep for Nike? That might make his mission a bit hard to reconcile for some.
Kaepernick’s Memoir Will Touch On His Protests
Unsurprisingly, Kaepernick’s memoir will touch on his infamous protests. He made national headlines by taking a knee during the National Anthem before his NFL games as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers.
Though Kaepernick claimed he was doing so to protest against racial inequality in the U.S., many Americans saw the move as a blatant disrespect to our flag and those who have fought and died for it.
“I’ve had a lot of questions surrounding what got me to the point of protesting. Why did I do it? Why did I do it at that moment? Why wasn’t it earlier in my career? A lot of questions surrounding what led me to that point,” Kaepernick said.
“Which led me to wanting to share that story and give insight. So I think there’s a lot of interest around it, but time will tell when the book comes out.”

Kaepernick Claims He Still Wants To Play Football
In the three years since opting to walk away from the 49ers, Kaepernick has appeared to be far more focused on achieving fame and fortune for himself than he is on ever playing football again. Yet the former pro quarterback claims that playing in the NFL is still what he wants to do.
“My desire to play football is still there,” Kaepernick said. “I still train five days a week. I’m ready to go, I’m ready for a phone call, tryout, workout at any point in time. I’m still waiting on the owners and their partners to stop running from this situation. So I hope I get a call this offseason. I’ll be looking forward to it.”

Kaepernick Is Full Of It
In November, the NFL graciously organized a workout for Kaepernick to show off his skills for all 32 teams in the league.
At the very last second, Kaepernick switched the location so that the press would be able to attend. Only eight NFL teams were able to get representatives to the new site in time.
What Kaepernick did in November proved once and for all that his main goal is to continue pushing his victim narrative to earn him press. And benefit from his status financially. The last thing he wants is for another NFL team to sign him, because that would show everyone that he isn’t the racial victim of the league that he wants to be seen as.
Is Colin Kaepernick really a champion against oppression here in America or benefiting from fear-mongering? Liberals have turned Kaepernick into a martyr for the cause of racism, but he is really just a cash-hungry narcissist.
It’s sad that liberals can’t wake up and see how much he’s manipulating them.
