Kayla Harrison

The Professional Fighters League ran in the New Year with PFL 10 on Wednesday night.

The event featured the crowning of six new champions, with all six earning $1 million for completing tournament runs. The card took place from the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, airing live on ESPN2.

In the main event, Kayla Harrison improved to 7-0 with a decision victory over Larissa Pacheco, becoming the women’s lightweight champion. Harrison, a former two-time Olympic gold medalist, dominated the contest.

Cooper Completes Mission This Time

In the co-main event for the night, Ray Cooper III finished off David Michaud, avenging his loss in the 2018 PFL finals to Magomed Magomedkerimov.

Cooper finished the contest in the second round.

Ali Isaev remained unbeaten, stopping Jared Rosholt in the fourth in the heavyweight finale.

Schulte Makes It Two-For-Two

Natan Schulte completed back-to-back runs at lightweight, winning a decision over Loik Radzhabov.

Lance Palmer also became a two-time champion, scoring a decision over Alex Gilpin. It marked the third win for Palmer over Gilpin.

Emiliano Sordi opened the card by finishing Jordan Johnson in the first round.

A total of 10 PFL events took place in 2019, as fighters competed in season-long tournaments. No events for 2020 have been announced, as last year, the first one started in May.
