Unwanted Christmas presents can be a real pain for everyone involved. You do not want to be the person to give the bad presents, but also don’t want to be the one that gets them. Fortunately, John Cena came up with a brilliant solution during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
John Cena’s Dad Is King At Giving Bad Christmas Presents
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, John Cena revealed that his father is one of the most terrible gift givers. While everyone in the Cena family agreed to only give gifts to the kids, a pact almost everyone kept to within his family. But you guessed it, John’s father didn’t.
“He got me a gift, which he thought was so very special. It is a ceramic wine bottle holder that is two revolvers. I don’t live in, like, a Western ranch. I don’t live in a saloon.”
“I told him I hated it. I really wanted to destroy it 1) because he kind of violated our agreement of trust, so he wanted to give that gift to be like, ‘I gave a gift! Merry Christmas!’ like he did a good thing. But he actually did a bad thing by violating the pact. And he got me a really cruddy gift.”
To get rid of his frustrations, Kimmel gave Cena a huge sledgehammer and allowed him to destroy some of the poor presents guests of the show received from their family’s. One gift was a pig-themed bowl, which immediately went under the hammer.
Even though John is in movie mode right now, there’s speculation about a big match for him at WrestleMania.
A Match For Big Match John?
Several wrestling websites have claimed Cena will be making an appearance. One of the most notable was Paul Davis from WrestlingNews.co.
“I asked a WWE source about Cena and I was told that there are big plans in the works for him but nothing has been locked in yet…The word from people in WWE is that Cena will likely be wrestling on the show.”
I can’t remember a time when John Cena did not attend WrestleMania. It’s almost like The Undertaker, as having Cena on the Grandest Stage of Them All is a given. Still, with his Hollywood career taking off, a match could be a lot more difficult.
On the flipside, Cena has mentioned he is up for a match at WrestleMania or at least an appearance. So, there is a high probability that he will attend.
Even though he is not wrestling full-time anymore, he is doing special matches from time to time. Since WrestleMania is the most special time of the year in the wrestling world, he should have a match.
With Cena on the big screen, an appearance of the actor/wrestler during WrestleMania would certainly be something special.
If rumors are to be believed, Cena is set to play a major role at WrestleMania, so we wonder what the WWE has in store for us. With the road to WrestleMania already started, I believe we will find out soon.
