A Virgin Atlantic flight attendant took to social media to reveal how a kindhearted man made the dreams of an elderly woman come true. He gave her his first class seat on an international flight. It didn’t take long for the story to go viral.
Flight Attendant Shares Heartwarming Story
Fox News reported that flight attendant Leah Amy shared the heartwarming story on her Facebook page. Her story has since touched the hearts of people all over the world.
While she has met tons of celebrities during her time at Virgin Atlantic, Leah described these two passengers, who she identified as Jack and Violet, as her new “favorite passengers EVER!”
While waiting at the unnamed airport for their flight, Jack and Violet struck up an “instant friendship.” After talking to the 88-year-old Violet, Jack decided that she would “get more” out of his first class seat than he would. So, he decided to trade with her.
Leah explained that it was Violet’s “dream” to sit at the front of the plane. And, Jack made her dream come true “out of the kindness of his own heart.”
After boarding, Jack immediately traded his seat for Violet’s in economy, even though hers was situated “directly next to the toilets.”

Jack Was A True Gentleman
“[Jack] sat on the row of seats directly next to the economy toilets and never made a peep or asked for anything the rest of the flight,” Leah explained. “No fuss, no attention, literally did it out of the kindness of his own heart, no one asked him to.”
Leah added that Violet flies to New York often to visit her daughter. However, this was her first trip in a long time due to a knee replacement. Violet was incredibly touched by Jack’s gesture, and it really was the trip of a lifetime for her.
“You should [have] seen her face when I tucked her in her bed after supper,” Leah recalled.
Though Violet did not leave any phone number or email address, Leah plans to mail the photos of her adventure to the octogenarian’s home address so she can remember the experience forever.

Social Media Users Praise Jack
The story of Jack and Violet quickly went viral, with social media users praising Jack as a “true gentleman” and a “wonderful guy.”
“Violet is the recipient of a young man raised by wonderful parents-God bless all and Merry Christmas!!” one social media user commented. Another added, “Jack you are a kindhearted individual. I know Violet will remember your kindness the rest of her life. May God continue to bless your life!”
