UFC 246: Conor McGregor-Donald Cerrone “The Showdown”

The promotional work for January’s UFC 246 is starting – and you can bet it is not going to let up anytime soon.

During Saturday night’s UFC 245 event, the promotion released a special video for the event which features Conor McGregor taking on Donald Cerrone.

Titled “The Showdown,” the bout will feature McGregor returning for the first time since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov for the title last year.

He’s back! Irish superstar Conor McGregor makes his return to the Octagon on January 18, and he’s kicking off 2020 with a welterweight showdown against the man with the most wins in UFC history, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

Returning to action for the first time since October 2018 in the main event of UFC 246, the two-division champion from Dublin known as “The Notorious” one wants to make a statement against Albuquerque action hero Cerrone, who has picked up five post-fight performance bonuses in his last five bouts.

UFC 246 takes place from the T-Mobile Arena just outside Las Vegas. Along with McGregor vs. Cerrone, Holly Holm meets Raquel Pennington, Claudia Gadelha battles Alexa Grasso and Anthony Pettis faces Carlos Diego Ferreira.
