The hosts of the ABC talk show “The View” viciously attacked Melania and Ivanka Trump today for comments that were made by President Donald Trump about the late John Dingell, D-Michigan, during a rally last night.
Trump’s Discourse on Dingell
Hours after yesterday’s impeachment vote, Trump appeared at a Michigan rally and quickly took aim at the late congressman’s wife, Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Mich., after she voted to impeach him.
“Debbie Dingell, that’s a real beauty,” Trump said as the crowd booed her, adding that he gave the late Dingell the “A+ treatment” after his death in February. In response, Dingell’s wife called him to say “it’s the nicest thing that’s ever happened, thank you so much. John would be so thrilled. He’s looking down.”
“I said, ‘That’s OK. Don’t worry about it.’ Maybe he’s looking up. I don’t know,” Trump said. “Maybe, but let’s assume he’s looking down.”
“The View” Hosts Blast Melania and Ivanka
Instead of solely focusing on Trump for his comments, however, the so-called “feminists” of “The View” pointed their criticisms toward the president’s wife and daughter.
“The Be Best, anti-bullying crap — I don’t want to hear any more from anybody,” Meghan McCain said, referring to Melania’s anti-bullying campaign.
“But I don’t want to hear it from Ivanka, I don’t want to hear it from Melania,” Meghan added. “Until you get him in line when it comes to disparaging people … when you are disparaging widows and people who have served the country and war heroes who have passed — again, I know something about it — it is, until you get them in line, you are complicit in this as well.”

McCain’s cohost Sunny Hostin agreed, saying that she would “love to see some energy from Melania Trump.”
“You’re not gonna,” the liberal cohost Joy Behar chimed in.

“The View” Hosts Are the Ultimate Sexists
Regardless of whether or not you agree with President Trump’s comments about Dingell, it’s awfully sexist to blame what he had to say on his wife and daughter. Melania and Ivanka are strong independent women. They have their own careers and are not babysitters who are supposed to keep their husband and father on a proverbial leash.
Instead of looking at Melania and Ivanka as women with their own minds and ideologies, the women of “The View” and their fellow liberals have taken to solely defining them by the man in their life. If that’s not sexism, I don’t know what is!
It’s perfectly fair for the hosts of “The View” to criticize Trump for the comments he makes. But, they should leave his wife and daughter out of it.
