The UFC might have been in Washington, D.C., but President Donald Trump was paying more attention to another promotion Saturday night.
Trump offered his congratulations to Tito Ortiz following Ortiz’s victory over Alberto El Patron at Combate Americas on the U.S.-Mexico border. The event was the first pay-per-view for the promotion.
Shortly after Ortiz locked up a first round submission victory, Trump sent “Congratulations on tonight’s huge WIN, a Great American Patriot!”
