ATF allows Gun Stores sell curbside

Democrats are once again proving to be avid gun salesmen. A running theme in the 2020 Presidential primary is gun grabbing. These Democratic White House wannabes aren’t shy about their goals of infringing on our Second Amendment rights. Americans don’t take too kindly to these threats. In fact, those threats sent Americans to gun shops in record numbers this Black Friday.

FBI Background Checks

The FBI announced a staggering 11% increase in background  checks over the previous Black Friday. 202,465.

This falls less than 1,000 short of the daily record high of 203,086 checks from 2017. It’s important to point out these numbers only reflect purchases at federally licensed firearm dealers. This number does not reflect actual gun sales given multiple sales to the same person can also occur in a single background check.

FBI background checks are not required for private gun sales. While we do not know the actual number of guns sold the day after Thanksgiving, it is most certainly higher than the number of background checks.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System doesn’t track sales but it is used to gauge market demand. There certainly has been a demand this year.

2019 is the first time since the FBI conducting checks, the monthly total hasn’t dipped below 2 million. Americans are responding to the 2020 Democrats pushing gun control by adding to their private arsenals.

From Bearing Arms:

We can thank gun control advocates for spurring on the sales, as demands by Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke and other failed candidates to ban and confiscate firearms have reminded many Americans of exactly what is at stake in the 2020 election. We don’t know how many of these NICS checks were done on purchases of semi-automatic rifles, but in talking to my friends in the firearms business in Virginia, the items that are selling like hotcakes are the very items anti-gun legislators are likely to ban in the next few months; semi-automatic rifles, 20 and 30 rounds magazines, and suppressors.

Motivations For Gun Sales

According to Fox 13 in Memphis, buyers had specific motivations for grabbing their wallets amidst all this talk of gun grabbing by 2020 Democrats. (RELATED: Second Amendment Sanctuary Movement on the Rise)

Adrian Terry of Horn Lake said the upcoming election and talk of a ban on certain weapons has been helping sales.

“Every time they talked about banning things like AR-15s they sold like hotcakes,” he said.

Multiple gun store owners around the Mid-South told FOX13 customers tell them they are buying weapons because of crime.

“But mainly people want to be able to defend themselves because of the crime rate, Terry said. “You step out the front door now and you don’t know what is going to happen to you.”

As long as the Democrats keep talking, we will keep buying guns.
