Michael Page continues to roll towards another title shot, as the striking phenom put away Shinsho Anzai today at Bellator 237.

Round one

Page stuck a couple of jabs early on, and as Anzai rushed in, he countered with a flying knee that appeared to graze the Japanese fighter. Page chucked in an uppercut moments later that just missed, and as Anzai charged in again, he fired another jumping knee. Page continued to punish Anzai from outside with jabs and rights, and then he sent the latter to the deck with another big shot. Anzai got back up, but Page landed several more, damaging strikes before the round ended.

Round two

Anzai ate another flying knee shortly into round two, and as he charged in moments later, Page floored him with a booming right and that was that. Another dominating win for “MVP”.

With the victory, Page has now won three in a row, since he was KO’d by the welterweight champ, Douglas Lima in May.

Here are the complete results so far for Bellator 237, which is taking place in Saitama Japan.
