Graphic Artist Boss Logic Imagines Andy Serkis as Alfred and Colin Farrell as The Penguin
Graphic artist Boss Logic was quick to mock up a couple images showing Andy Serkis as Batman’s trusted friend and butler Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as the villainous Penguin.
Boss Logic posted the images to his Instagram shortly after reports surfaced indicating both Serkis and Farrell were in negotiations to play Pennyworth and The Penguin respectively.
In Boss Logic’s mock up of Serkis as Pennyworth, it looks like he is using the Batcave from Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, as you can see what looks to be Ben Affleck’s bulky Batman suit in the background.
The image also shows Alfred doing what Alfred does best. He’s taking care of Bruce Wayne after a night of battling evil on the streets of Gotham. And it looks like evil might have gotten a few licks in, as Serkis’ Pennyworth has blood on his gloves, jacket sleeves, and a towel he is holding.
Boss Logic also adds his own opinion on the casting news, “Alfred – The cool thing about Andy Serkis is that he would do anything to look the part.”

Boss Logic takes a different approach with Colin Farrell’s Penguin mock up.
He puts Farrell in Penguin’s iconic suit and top hat with accompanying monocle.
But the actor is almost unrecognizable as he gives Farrell and The Penguin what look to be some horrific scars, indicating he’s a grizzled mobster, who might have clawed his way to the top of the Gotham food chain.
He also has Farrell’s Penguin wielding a pistol rather than his iconic umbrella.
Boss Logic wasn’t the only one to put their spin on Farrell’s Penguin. The Imaginative Hobbyist also imagined the Irish actor as Oswald Cobblepot.
