The name Sajad Gharibi is likely that of a new one to many.
However, you might want to familiarize yourself with the fighter who is appropriately nicknamed the “Iranian Hulk.”

During the prelim card for the recent Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 9 event, the promotion announced the signing of Gharibi.
The 27-year-old is a bodybuilder who calls Ahwaz, Iran his home. He has been looking to branch out into combat sports, with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship being the ones to land his services.
David Feldman, president of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, confirmed plans for a USA vs. Iran event in 2020 dubbed World War III. That is where Gharibi is expected to debut.
“This guy’s going to make his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut in early 2020,” Feldman said (thanks to MMA Fighting for the quotes). “We’re going to do a show entitled ‘USA vs. Iran: World War III.’ He’s literally our biggest signing we’ve ever had. But he’s going to make his way over to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, he’s gonna make a home here, and we expect really, really big things from ‘The Iranian Hulk.’”
Gharibi stands 6-foot-1 and weighs some 390 pounds. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Azad University.
