ONE Championship held its historic “Century” card this past Sunday in Tokyo, Japan, and the stacked event wasn’t short on finishes.
One of the biggest names to compete on part one of the event, if not the biggest, was former UFC flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson. The renowned fighter worked his way to a decision win over Danny Kingad, and in doing so, Johnson won the promotion’s flyweight grand prix.
As you can see by watching the highlights below, part one also saw Angela Lee defend the atomweight title via a late submission win over strawweight champ Xiong Jing Nan. The event also featured lightweight champ Christian Lee winning the lightweight grand prix by defeating Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev.
The main event for part two of “Century” featured heavyweight champ Brand Vera challenging Aung La N Sang for his light-heavyweight belt. The latter recorded arguably the biggest win of his career, however, by taking out the UFC vet.
Other winners in part two of “Century” included bantamweight champ Bibiano Fernandes, flyweight Muay Thai champ Rodtang Jitmuangnon and submission ace, Shinya Aoki.
