After months of speculation and debate regarding when and who Conor McGregor will fight next, the star seems extremely interested in facing Frankie Edgar. So much so, he recently told the former UFC lightweight champ that he’ll see him in December…
Speculation regarding McGregor’s next fight
Ever since McGregor was submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov last October, he’s pushed for a rematch with the lightweight champ. But, since McGregor hasn’t won a bout now since 2016, and because of Tony Ferguson’s awe-inspiring run, “El Cucuy” is expected to challenge for the belt next.
McGregor has also expressed an interest in fighting Ferguson and Justin Gaethje, but he’s also said he’d be down to fight Edgar…

Well, apparently it’s Edgar’s birthday, and McGregor took the opportunity to tweet out this:

So, sure, nothing is signed yet. But, it certainly looks like Edgar – McGregor is a real possibility. The question is, on what card in December?
