Bellator 229 went down in Temecula, California on Friday, and the card saw Tony Johnson viciously knock out Joe Schilling.
Johnson bombs out Schilling
If you follow kickboxing, then you know that Schilling is one of the best kickboxers in the United States, and that he’s faced many of the best strikers on the planet. More recently, however, Schilling has been focused on MMA, and he had won two straight bouts heading into Bellator 229.
Well, as you can see by watching the clip below, that streak ended violently courtesy a left hook from Johnson in round three. With the victory, Johnson moved his winning streak to five and his overall record to 9-2.
