UFC Fight Night 158 Results: Justin Gaethje Adds To His Highlights
Justin Gaethje picked up his third consecutive first round finish inside the Octagon Saturday night by taking care of Donald Cerrone in Vancouver.
Former World Series of Fighting champion Justin Gaethje made it three consecutive first round finishes Saturday night.
But this one means even more than the other two.
Gaethje stopped Donald Cerrone in the opening five minutes of their UFC Fight Night 158 main event from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The entire card aired live on ESPN+.
DC: You gotta watch your language, son.

Glover Teixeira Among Main Card Winners
Glover Teixeira, a former UFC light heavyweight title contender, topped Nikita Krylov in a back-and-forth co-main event. Texieira was awarded the split decision.
Todd Duffee’s long-awaited return to the Octagon ended early after an accidental eye poke from Jeff Hughes. Duffee complained of double vision and the bout was stopped in the first round with less than a minute to go.
Tristan Connelly stepped in on short notice for Sergey Khadozhko and took advantage of the opportunity, besting Michel Pereira, who had weighed in heavy for the bout by a pound.
It turned into an even bigger night for Connelly when the UFC awarded him both “Fight of the Night” bonuses since Pereira missed weight. He also picked up 20 percent of his fight purse.
Gaethje and Cirkunov were “Performance of the Night” winners.
Uriah Hall downed Antonio Carlos Junior via split decision and Misha Cirkunov submitted Jimmy Crute in the first round with a Peruvian necktie.
Augusto Sakai Stops Marcin Tybura
In the prelim main event for the night, Augusto Sakai knocked out Marcin Tybura in just under a minute. Sakai pushed his current win streak in the heavyweight division to five in a row with the last three coming with the UFC.
Miles Johns, Hunter Azure, Chas Skelly and Austin Hubbard all won via decision, with Louis Smolka stopping Ryan MacDonlad in the first round of their bantamweight battle.
