Possible Huge Name Next For Bray Wyatt And The Fiend

-On the most recent Firefly Funhouse, Bray Wyatt provided fans with the usual cryptic clues. Fans, as expected, peel back the layers of the onion and try to analyze what Bray might have meant. Based on what people are thinking, it seems The Fiend is going to be getting a really big name for his next confrontation. And no, not Steve Austin, as had previously been suggested.

As in, right now, plans seem to be calling for The Fiend to put down The Undertaker.

Per a report via Wrestling Observer, this could happen on the debut episode of SmackDown Live on Fox, which happens the first Friday in October (October 4th, to be exact).

That show is already announced as a big deal, with WWE using it as an anniversary celebration for the blue brand. In advance of the debut, in part to help push ticket sales, the company has announced a plethora of big names from years past. Fans are still hoping for The Rock, and many have speculated we could see Ronda Rousey appear, but names like The Undertaker have long been confirmed.

Now, there are a few things to keep in mind, because plans could easily change between now and then.

As has been reported before, Bray Wyatt is expected to get a Universal Championship match at Hell In A Cell. That would put him against either Seth Rollins or Braun Strowman on October 6th (the debut SmackDown is, in fact, a go home show as well). Now, that has not been officially announced by WWE, but it’s been show in advertising for the show at the arena, and Wyatt did discuss it during a Firefly Funhouse recently-so it seems quite likely.

So, would WWE expend a segment of a go home show on Wyatt attacking Undertaker instead of hyping the title match? Maybe, considering the Universal Championship is for RAW.

It’s also worth wondering: would WWE use this interaction to set up a match involving Bray and The Phenom for say, Survivor Series? That may be a solid choice, as a traditional Survivor Series match would make a lot more sense in terms of getting a serviceable match.
