He might have been a letter off getting the spelling correct, but UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones gave his fans something to talk about Monday.
Jones teased an upcoming big fight announcement soon when asked by a follower about his return to the Octagon.
“Buckle your seatbelt my friends, Big (fight) announcement coming soon,” Jones wrote.

Jones was pretty outspoken during the recent Stipe Miocic-Daniel Cormier heavyweight title fight, as Miocic reclaimed his belt with a finish. Jones and Cormier, of course, have had one of the longest-running feuds in MMA history.
The last time the 32-year-old Jones fought was in July when he scored a decision victory and successful title defense vs. Thiag Santos at UFC 239. He is now 25-1 with a no-contest, including 16 wins via either knockout or submission.
Jones did have a battery charge from this past July, with the trial set for later this month. He paid a fee for failing to show up for a bond arraignment for the case, which states he choked, kissed and touched a female against her will.
