It looks like fans will have to weight for Friday’s weigh-ins, before they get to see Anthony Pettis and Nate Diaz face off again for cameras…

Diaz no shows media day

As you likely know, UFC 241 is going down on Saturday, and in the main event, heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier will face Stipe Miocic for a second time. In the co-headliner, Nate Diaz will make his long awaited return against Pettis.

Diaz was, of course, supposed to show up at media day, but the popular / outspoken fighter pulled a no show. In a follow up report from MMA Junkie, Diaz’s spokesperson Zach Rosenfield was quoted saying:

“Nate addressed the media at length yesterday after open workouts covering all topics.”

There you have it. As you can see by watching the vid below, Cormier and Miocic had an intense face off. “DC” ended Miocic’s reign last summer by knocking him out in the opening round at UFC 226.
