The Most Promising WWE Superstars In NXT 2019

There is plenty of talent to choose from in NXT, so the choice of the most promising talent was certainly not easy. However, there are some who stand out a little from the rest. So, without further ado, here are our top choices for the most promising talent.

Johnny Gargano – The Wrestling Heart Of NXT?

When it comes down to one of the most promising talent on the NXT roster, Johnny Gargano is a bit of a no-brainer. From his feuds with Tomasso Ciampa to Adam Cole, there are plenty of brilliant matches that carry Gargano’s name.

Adam Cole

Adam Cole was quite known before he came to the WWE. At one point, he was the hottest free agent on the indie circuit. Once he arrived on the NXT brand, he promptly started his own faction. Still, whether with or without a faction, or being a heel or a face, Adam Cole’s popularity has not dwindled one bit.

Shayna Baszler

I have to admit, I did not take to Shayna Baszler immediately. But, she managed to convince me by being a consistent performer on the NXT brand. Ex-MMA fighters do have to work a lot harder than career wrestlers to convince the crowd. Baszler has done just that and has been a consistent champion.

Velveteen Dream

Even though it took a while for Velveteen Dream to be crowned with NXT gold, he eventually got there with the NXT North American Championship. Of course, his championship belt is not the only thing that makes him special, because Velveteen Dream has one of the better gimmicks on the NXT roster.

Io Shirai

Io Shirai has not been at NXT for that long, but that does not mean she has not left an impression. The WWE superstar who recently turned heel has some impressive moves. While some argued her being Japanese would be a hindrance, she has worked her Japanese heritage to her benefit.

Tommaso Ciampa

Ciampa has been one of the most impressive heels on the roster. Despite getting injured and having to go under the knife again recently, Tommaso will have no problems resuming his role at the top of the roster.

Matt Riddle

I was not too excited to hear another ex-MMA fighter would join the company, nor did I like his character in the beginning. My other half on the other hand, loved Matt Riddle from the start. Even though I hate to admit it, he’s grown on me as well, much like Shayna Baszler. There should be an amazing future for him on the main roster.

Bianca BelAir

When looking at the women’s division within NXT, you cannot ignore Bianca Belair. While she is somewhat reminiscent of Sasha Banks, her long braid and brilliant in-ring charisma makes her stand out.

Candice LeRae

Candice is often underestimated in the women’s division, but she is a fantastic wrestler. I would love to see a bigger role for Candice in the nearby future, because she certainly deserves it. Hopefully, she will get an even bigger role on the main roster.
