Last week, we reported that rumors were swirling that Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman was dating again weeks after his wife’s death when he was spotted having dinner with a mystery woman. Now, Dog has made a social media post as his way of shooting down rumors that he is dating again so soon after Beth Chapman’s passing in June.

Dog Says Beth Is His “Always And Forever”

In Touch Weekly reported that Beth’s daughter Cecily Chapman took to Instagram to share an old photo of Dog and Beth kissing along with the caption, “Day one stuff..” Dog, 66, then reshared the post on his own Instagram story, adding the hashtag “#alwaysandforever.”

Dog Promised Beth He Wouldn’t Date

Dog previously said that he promised Beth he would not date again after her death.

“For two to three years, she knew this might happen,” Dog told Entertainment Tonight. “So she would say, ‘Who is going to sit next to you?’ And I said, ‘No one.’” When she said, “Big Daddy, you better not let another girl take my place,” he promised, “I won’t.” After all, who could take Beth’s place when she’s still with her man? “Even though she is not physically there,” Dog said, “mentally and spiritually, she is there.”

Dog’s Daughter Bonnie Shoots Down Rumors

Dog and Beth’s daughter Bonnie also told fans that her father would not date again.

“Nope, he found his soulmate,” she said when a fan specifically asked. “No one can replace her in his heart. Their love was one of a kind, [and] it made me believe love truly exists.”

It was Bonnie who spoke out after her father was photographed having dinner with a mystery woman to say that he was not dating her and that she was instead a member of his television crew.

“Pissed on my father’s behalf that he can’t go on a business dinner without someone speculating he’s on a date,” Bonnie, 20, wrote on her Instagram story. “Leave our family alone please. Leave my father alone, let him try to continue our business in peace.”

“If you really wanna know who she is, she’s a member of our crew, and dad was out with 8 other people at that dinner,” Bonnie added.

Beth passed away on June 26 at the age of 51 after a battle with cancer. Since then, Dog has been open with fans about how hard her passing has been on him.

“In a new experience that you have, you don’t know how you’re doing because you’ve never experienced it,” Dog said. “I have a lot of people that depend on me. All my supervisors said, ‘Dog, it’s time you man up.’ So I’m trying to man up. I am a cry baby. I blame it on my heritage. I can cry talking about crying so I would be crying through the whole thing and I sob, I can’t stop it. So I can’t do that. And decisions, you can’t do that, you can’t use that as an excuse. So manning up would be, not get over it, but face it, take over it.”

If only people would let this family mourn their matriarch in peace. Whatever Dog does is his business and people need to stay out of it.
