Daniel Cormier Issues Heartfelt Apology, Waiting On Decision

Former UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier suffered a devastating loss this past Saturday night at UFC 241 to Stipe Miocic, costing him the belt he entered the Honda Center in Anaheim, California wearing.

Cormier, also a former UFC light heavyweight champion, has pondered retirement for several months now. But, “DC” stated on social media that he “will decide what I am gonna do now, and as soon as I decide you will all know right away.” Related: Daniel Cormier’s Future Plans Should Include WWE Run

The ex-U.S. Olympic wrestler also used Instagram to “stress the disappointment” in his loss. Cormier was well on his way to securing a title defense after three rounds, picking Miocic apart for the better part of the 15 minutes. However, in the fourth, he was rattled with shots to the body before being dropped.
