PAC's Future

Update Following Reports Of Fenix Getting Injured

Yesterday, we learned that Jon Moxley would not be able to compete at All Out due to injury. It was a major loss for the promotion and now they have some more bad news. At Big Time Wrestling from Rhode Island, The Lucha Bros. took on Teddy Hart & Juventud Guerrera.

During the match, Fenix superkicked Guerrera and then went to slam Hart. When Fenix went for the slam, he fell to the mat and grabbed his leg. After calling for help, Fenix was taken to the back with Guerrera quickly pinning Pentagon to end the match. Pentagon then went directly to the back to check on his brother.

According to F4WOnline, Fenix was seen later walking very gingerly and the belief is he did not break his leg. Then today, Big Time Wrestling announced that Fenix will work their show later in the day. So for now, it appears Fenix should be ready to go for All Out.

It is really awful for AEW, as The Lucha Bros. are set to battle The Young Bucks at All Out in a ladder match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship. The teams have been trading the titles since AEW’s Double Or Nothing a few months ago.

Jon Moxley’s Return, PAC’s AEW Future

As for Moxley, he is dealing with MRSA in his elbow and is expected to miss about four weeks of action. Replacing him at All Out against Kenny Omega will be PAC. There is no word if PAC will be a full-time member of the AEW roster.

When AEW was building towards their first show, PAC was supposed to face “Hangman” Adam Page. But, the match was scratched as PAC did not want to lose and neither did Dragon Gate; where he held the Open the Dream Gate Championship. He would later drop the belt in July, possibly opening up a return to AEW while still working out of Japan.

Moxley was always promoted for AEW’s TV debut on October 2 and some think he will take on Omega at that time. AEW has promised to put on Moxley vs. Omega once everyone is healthy.

All Out is one week from today, August 31, from the Sears Centre Arena. It will be the promotion’s last major event util they debut on TNT starting Wednesday, October 2.
