Urijah Faber

Urijah Faber hadn’t fought since 2016 prior to tonight. But, “The California Kid” clearly wasn’t interested in taking his time against Ricky Simon at UFC Sacramento.

Simon came out winging big punches and he appeared to stun Faber with a big hook early on. Moments later, however, Faber decked Simon with a huge overhand right that sent Simon to the floor. Faber fired down punches from above, and as Simon was scrambling to get up and out, the fight was stopped.

After the quick win, Faber relayed he’s more than willing to face champion Henry Cejudo next, who recently listed Faber as one of the fighters he’s interested in battling next.
