Rumored Undertaker Opponents

Undertaker made a shocking return a few weeks ago and now teams with Roman Reigns against Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules. There are rumors floating around that Undertaker will work both SummerSlam and WrestleMania this year. This would be a major difference from 2017 as Undertaker worked a very limited number of matches.

Speculation is that Undertaker will take on Baron Corbin at SummerSlam and then McIntyre at WrestleMania. When selecting future opponents, Undertaker handpicked McIntyre and McMahon is very high on Corbin.

It does make sense for WWE to book Undertaker opposite younger names. His last two matches took place in Saudi Arabia and they were not well received. He would lose a tag team match at Crown Jewel that also involved Kane, Triple H and Shawn Michaels; who have a combined age of over 200 years old and then there was Super ShowDown against Goldberg. Early on, Goldberg suffered a concussion and the match was generally considered a massive flop.

If Undertaker is going to keep wrestling, hopefully he can redeem himself against younger talent. Otherwise, fans are going to push for retirement.

– One of the most talked about name heading into last year’s Mae Young Classic was Tegan Nox. At one point, she was rumored to win the entire tournament before suffering a major injury.

In August 2017, Nox dislocated her knee cap, had a torn MCL, LCL and ACL in a tournament match against Rhea Ripley. For weeks, Nox has been teasing a potential return with clips of previous matches. In the latest Instagram post, which can be seen below, Nox seems to imply that she is ready to get back in the ring.
