Mike Perry reportedly has his next fight, and once again, it’s of the ‘must-see’ variety.

Yes. it’s being reported that the dangerous welterweight is going to face rising contender, and documented finisher, Vicente Luque next. MMA Uncensoredwas the first to report that the two will battle in the co-main event of the UFC’s August 10th card in Montevideo, Uruguay.

MMA Fighting also confirmed with sources that the fight is expected for that card.

Perry (13-4) is coming off a decision win over Alex Oliveira in April, after being submitted by Donald Cerrone last November.  “Platinum” is 2-3 in his last 5 bouts.

Luque (16-6-1), meanwhile, has won five straight since he lost to Leon Edwards in 2017. The welterweight has finished all five of the opponents he’s faced since then, and most recently Luque stopped Derrick Krantz.

That’s solid addition to UFC Uruguay with ‘Fight of the Night’ possibilities all over it.

Here is the line-up so far for the upcoming event (via MMA Junkie):

Valentina Shevchenko vs. Liz Carmouche
Vicente Luque vs. Mike Perry
Taila Santos vs. Ashlee Evans-Smith
Rogerio Bontorin vs. Raulian Paiva
Enrique Barzola vs. Bobby Moffett
Marina Rodriguez vs. Tecia Torres
Cyril Gane vs. Raphael Pessoa
Veronica Macedo vs. Rachael Ostovich
