Jordan Omogbehin Joins The WWE

WWE Jordan

The WWE’s new resident giant, Jordan Omogbehin, will be making his developmental debut on Thursday the 25th of July. Towering at a staggering 7 ft 3, he is the third-tallest wrestler to ever join the WWE.

Before joining the wrestling company, Omogbehin was a high school basketball player. Once he quit basketball, he was quickly picked up by Triple H, who acquired the towering giant approximately nine months ago.

It is expected that Jordan Omogbehin will be playing a major role in the company for years to come. While he will spend some time on NXT, it is expected that he will be called up to the main roster very fast.

Other Giants Who Have Wrestled For The WWE

Jordan Omogbehin is not the first giant who has worked as a wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment. There have been a number of tall wrestlers over the years. Here are some of the most prominent.

Giant Gonzalez

Giant Gonzales tops the list of tall men who have worked for the World Wrestling Federation. Topping the list with a staggering 8 ft, he owned the wrestling ring in 1993. Unfortunately, Giant Gonzalez passed away in 2010 after suffering complications from diabetes and heart disease.

Andre The Giant

One of the best known giants in the wrestling world is undoubtedly Andre The Giant, who faced the likes of Hulk Hogan. Andre The Giant was not just a tall man though, as his unusual size was attributed to a condition called gigantism.

Measuring 7 ft 4, Andre The Giant is the second biggest wrestler in the history of the WWE. Unfortunately, Andre The Giant passed away in 1993 from congestive heart failure.

Giant Silva

Giant Silva has been thrown from his third position in this list; this due to the arrival of Jordan in NXT. Giant Silva measured a whopping 7 ft 2, so Jordan Omogbehin has now taken the third position with 7 ft 3.

The Great Khali

Standing tall at 7 ft 1, The Great Khali is well-known across the world. Not only did he have a flourishing career in wrestling, he has also done appearances in numerous Hollywood and Bollywood films. He has also did some appearances in a number of television shows.

Other Large Men In The WWE

There have been more large men in wrestling, so this list is certainly not limited to the men mentioned above. Kane, Big Cass, The Big Show, The Undertaker, and Braun Strowman are just some of the other big men acquired by the company. With the record standing at 8 ft, we wonder if the record will ever be beaten?
