Myles Jury is headed to Bellator, and he’s going to face one of the organization’s best and most experienced lightweights in his promotional debut.

Bellator has announced that Jury is going to face the UFC’s former lightweight champ on September 27th. The bout will headline the Bellator 227 portion of the event, which will take place in Dublin, Ireland.

The 30-year-old Jury (17-4) is looking to get back on track, after dropping back-to-back bouts to Andre Fili and Chad Mendes. Jury joined the UFC way back in 2012.

The 35-year-old Henderson (27-8), meanwhile, has won three in a row and is coming off a split decision win over Adam Piccolotti.
