Some songs stand the test of time. Not only do they conjure up memories, but future generations love them as well. Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” is one of those songs.

Many of us can relate to feeling insecure that someone might “steal” our significant other. It’s awful to be jealous and unconfident when a glamorous woman sets her eyes on your man. We’ve all been there at some point in our lives. It’s a great song that is made even better by the fact that Dolly Parton sings it.

Many country fans still regularly play this beloved song. This has helped expand the fan base to the next generation. It’s hard not to love “Jolene.” It’s one of those songs you feel obliged to sing when it comes on the radio.

Brooke Heiler Kingsley is one of those parents who passed her love of “Jolene” onto her daughter Sofia. Even though she is way too young to understand the meaning of the lyrics, this adorable toddler quickly picked up on the catchy tune and made it her own.

Sofia has the chorus of “Jolene” down pat. She sings it in a loop. Brooke decided to take a video of the precious child singing Dolly Parton’s signature song. When the proud mother posted it to Facebook, she never expected the attention it would bring.

This video has amassed almost 7.5 million views further proving that “Jolene” is still incredibly popular! Of course, seeing such a young child belt it out helped.

In the Facebook video below, you will notice that it sounds like Sofia says Darlene rather than Jolene. We all get the point of what she is saying when she sings, please don’t take my man.” If you are a Dolly Parton fan, you will want to share this! It will bring an instant smile to your face!
