-For anyone who watched, the fact is that the match between Braun Strowman and Bobbly Lashley had some big spots. A couple days after Extreme Rules, we are learning a bit more about the match and those involved.
Several sites have come out to point out that the area surrounding Lashley and Strowman’s big spot in their Last Man Standing Match at Extreme Rules was very obviously rigged. The word is that WWE had a number of plants in the crowd, ready to step in on a moment’s notice. This extra added process is nothing new, but it’s interesting to get the crowd reports some attention.
WWE is right to protect their big matches, as well as their fans. WWE does not need any kind of issues stemming from the wild and crazy in-crowd spots we may be seeing more of soon!
-Jeff Hardy may be on the shelf at the moment, but he cannot stay out of trouble.
In fact, we previously reported on Hardy’s arrest while in Myrtle Beach.
Now, as one might have expected, more details have in fact been uncovered. Hardy found himself down and out in a stairwell in that sail away mood. He should have simply ordered an Uber seeing how it’s easy and safe to do.
Considering that WWE still wants to see these Superstars get their health and other issues taken care of, we don’t expect WWE to cut Jeff Hardy loose. Especially considering his history with his assorted demons, it would seem that the company will do whatever it can to clean up the former world champion.
With Hardy on the mend following his surgery, it will be interesting to see what, if any, punishment actually gets dished out. WWE can’t be happy that one of their more popular Superstars has done something so short-sighted.
