John Cena Considering WWE Retirement

– Once the Face That Ran The Place, WWE superstar John Cena has been busy with Hollywood projects, recently joining the Fast & Furious film franchise for the next movie slated on the horizon, as well as hosting responsibilities around the new Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader. TMZ recently caught up with the WWE’s former 16-time World Champion, where he showed his gratitude around being a part of the next F&F flick, and was also asked if he thinks Bill Goldberg and The Undertaker should think about retiring, especially after what happened around their Super Show Down match that took place last Friday in Saudi Arabia.

Cena would reply that this type of decision is up to each person, and at 42 years of age, it’s a topic he struggles with, and considers as well. While a timeline around his retirement was not relayed, with his career moving in another direction, plus the fact that he is getting older, retiring completely from the WWE is clearly something that lays heavy on his mind. – There was a ton of concern by the WWE Universe last night on RAW, when Cesaro seemingly suffered a knee injury during an “impromptu” six-man tag team match. Cesaro’s knee would be on the receiving end of Ricochet’s 450 finisher, where the talent had to be helped by officials to the backstage area.

The good news is that, according to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, the superstar is not injured, and while he may have been hurt at the time, it doesn’t seem to be anything overly serious. The fact that many WWE talents are coming off a grueling schedule and all the travel that was involved with the Super Show Down event, Cesaro’s body may be feeling exhausted, but otherwise he is fine.
