Vince McMahon High On Superstar

– It looks like we have a departure from the NXT brand. Percy Watson has reportedly left and will no longer will be working at the NXT announce table. Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens stated that Watson quit WWE to become an an actor.

Before joining the announce table, Watson was a wrestlers and also part of NXT Season 2. That was before NXT was a brand and instead they produced a weekly show that saw pro wrestlers work alongside rookies. It was not anything special and eventually the show got cancelled. During the show, he was paired with MVP and finished fifth overall.

He continued to work with WWE until being released in May 2013. Then in November 2016, Watson made an unexpected appearance at NXT as a color commentator. He also worked on 205 Live before Aiden English replaced him and then Beth Phoenix took his spot in NXT. At the last set of NXT TV tapings, Watson was not spotted and there was explanation  for his absence.

– Vince McMahon is once again very high on Andrade. According to Fightful, Vince McMahon is pleased with how much Andrade has improved his English.

Since joining the main roster, Andrade and Zelina Vega have had their highs and lows. Andrade had some great matches with Rey Mysterio and some thought it would lead to a WrestleMania 35 match. That did not happen, but with Mysterio’s career being on its final stretch, WWE needs a star for their Spanish audience.

Andrade has mostly worked the SmackDown brand. He was drafted to RAW during the Superstar Shake-Up, but a week later was sent back to SmackDown.
