The Nogueira brothers – “Big Nog” and “Lil’ Nog” – are practically royalty in Brazil. Both were combat sports superstars in PRIDE FC, with the former going on to UFC glory and the latter turning to boxing. But Big Nog doesn’t fight anymore because he’s pretty spent, and Lil’ Nog… He’s not doing to well, either.

Lil’ Nog, a.k.a. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira fought Tuesday Night Contender Series alum Ryan Spann at UFC 237. It lasted just a little over two minutes, with Spann getting a takedown, then boxing Nogueira into a stiff knockout.

I know it’s probably supposed to be a treat for the local crowd to see their heroes notch another win, but with Lil’ Nog’s performance, you have to suspect that the UFC might be punishing Brazil for some reason. Why else would they subject the poor Brazilian audience to watching their hero get killed?
