Tenshin Nasukawa is still fighting at RIZIN 16, but the rising star will be facing a new opponent at the June 2nd card.

According to a new report from MMA Fighting, RIZIN has announced that Nasukawa’s original opponent, Ahmed Ferradji has withdrawn from the bout “without a valid reason”. Now the 20-year-old striking phenom will take on ISKA bantamweight champion Martin Blanco (8-1), but the fight will be contested at featherweight.

Ferradji, meanwhile, has reportedly been stripped of the ISKA featherweight title.

Nasukawa, who has gone 31-0 in kickboxing, is coming off a stoppage win over Fritz Biagtan at RIZIN 15 last month.

Rizin 16 will be available on FITE TV PPV and will take place in Kobe, Japan.
